A Energisa informa que devido à tempestade que atingiu a região nesta segunda-feira (22), a empresa atua de forma ininterrupta para restabelecer o fornecimento de energia para os clientes afetados. Com ventos que chegaram a 82 km/h em algumas localidades, árvores inteiras, galhos, placas, telhas e outros objetos foram lançados sobre a rede elétrica, provocando a quebra e queda de postes, rompimento de cabos e outros danos à rede. Na área de atuação da Energisa Sul-Sudeste, as regiões mais afetadas foram Presidente Prudente, Assis e Tupã.
Desde o início do temporal, mais de 2,3 mil ocorrências foram registradas pela Energisa, o que representa 10 vezes mais de ocorrências que em um dia normal. Com a atuação imediata das equipes, aproximadamente de 70% dos clientes impactados já tiveram a energia restabelecida.
A Energisa reforça o compromisso de manter todas as equipes em campo até normalizar o fornecimento da energia para todos os clientes. E orienta a população para que não faça qualquer intervenção na rede por conta própria e não se aproxime em hipótese alguma de cabos partidos e postes danificados.
