Uma ação conjunta da Polícia Militar Rodoviária e da Força Integrada de Combate ao Crime Organizado de São Paulo (FICCO-SP) resultou na apreensão de 7,8 toneladas de maconha na tarde desta quinta-feira (25), em Adamantina (SP). A ocorrência foi registrada por volta das 14h30, no km 590 da Rodovia Comandante João Ribeiro de Barros (SP-294), durante a Operação Impacto. As equipes abordaram um caminhão Scania T112 H, que tracionava um semirreboque SR Radon, ambos do município de Lages (SC). Na fiscalização minuciosa, os policiais localizaram a droga escondida no meio da carga de placas de gesso. Após a pesagem, o entorpecente totalizou 7.887 quilos. O motorista, de 41 anos, morador de Mato Grosso do Sul, não possuía antecedentes criminais, mas demonstrou nervosismo desde o início da abordagem e apresentou respostas contraditórias sobre o trajeto. Ele afirmou que carregou o gesso em Campo Grande (MS) e levaria a carga até Duque de Caxias (RJ), onde receberia R$ 5 mil pelo transporte. A ocorrência foi apresentada na Delegacia da Polícia Federal de Marília, onde o delegado ratificou a prisão em flagrante pelo crime de tráfico de drogas. O veículo, a droga e um celular foram apreendidos, e o motorista permaneceu preso à disposição da Justiça.
A Polícia Militar destacou que segue atuando na proteção de vidas, no combate ao crime e na promoção da paz, rumo aos 200 anos de sua história.
