Na madrugada desta quinta-feira (11/09), equipes da Polícia Militar Ambiental efetuaram policiamento náutico no Rio São José dos Dourados na Estância Turística de Ilha Solteira/SP, onde durante o patrulhamento náutico, os patrulheiros avistaram dois homens de 42 e 40 anos, respectivamente, que estavam pescando com uso de arpão às margens do rio, fazendo uso de método não permitido. Indagados a respeito da prática, responderam não terem conhecimento da legislação específica, sendo lavrados em desfavor dos envolvidos dois Autos de Infração Ambiental no valor de R$ 1.000,00 para cada um, totalizando em R$ 2.000,00 por pescar mediante a utilização de método proibido.
Foram apreendias duas espingardas de mergulho, duas nadadeiras, dois óculos, dois snorkels duas lanternas e uma faca. Os envolvidos responderão criminalmente. Ainda, em continuidade ao policiamento, foram realizados recolhimentos de redes de pesca sem plaquetas de identificação.
