Já próximo ao final da tarde deste domingo (0709), as equipes da Polícia Militar Rodoviária que realizavam patrulhamento pelo quilômetro 470 da Rodovia Assis Chateaubriand (SP-425), abordaram a um conjunto de transporte de carga suspeito, correspondendo ao Cavalo-Trator Mercedes Benz/1938 atrelado ao semirreboque.
Realizada a vistoria, os policiais constataram um carregamento de droga escondido no interior dos dois pneus estepes. A droga do tipo cocaína estava disposta em 90 tabletes, que após serem pesados totalizaram em 98 quilos e 550 gramas.
O condutor, um homem de 38 anos, foi preso em flagrante e além dele, foi apreendida a droga e os veículos.
A ocorrência foi apresentada no plantão central da Polícia Civil, onde o autor permaneceu preso à disposição da Justiça.
