A Defesa Civil de Osvaldo Cruz (SP) emitiu um alerta, na tarde desta quarta-feira (17), sobre uma tentativa de golpe praticada por pessoas que estariam utilizando indevidamente o nome da instituição.
Uma idosa de 79 anos procurou a sede da Coordenadoria Municipal de Proteção e Defesa Civil e relatou que três homens, portando crachás falsos, se apresentaram como agentes da Defesa Civil. O grupo utilizava um veículo branco e afirmou à moradora que estaria no local para averiguar uma denúncia relacionada a uma árvore.
A instituição esclarece que todos os agentes da Defesa Civil atuam devidamente uniformizados, em viaturas oficiais caracterizadas e com número de prefixo vinculado ao Governo do Estado de São Paulo.
Outro ponto destacado é que as vistorias são realizadas exclusivamente pelo coordenador acompanhado de um agente, nunca por grupos de pessoas não identificadas.
O órgão reforça que, em caso de dúvidas, a população deve acionar imediatamente os telefones 199 (Defesa Civil) ou 190 (Polícia Militar).
